Project Brief:
A Brand Revamp | Pacific Community Development (PCD) is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm offering planning, surveying, UAV, landscape architecture, and civil engineering services to a wide variety of clients in the Pacific Northwest.
PCD Partner Stacy Connery approached Jennie & Victor for a complete rebranding effort of their 12-year old engineering firm. The Twirl team was excited about the opportunity and began the project by conducting branding exercises to learn more about their company before developing its core marketing pieces. The positioning tagline, “A Legacy Built on Collaboration,” was created to honor their past and present. A Legacy Built indicates you have been both productive & successful in the Built Environment and over time, you have proven that your work has lasting power for future generations to experience and benefit from — Collaboration is what made PCD successful. It implies you understand the critical importance of working together and is the foundation for any project.
To help support PCD’s new positioning, we collaborated with PCD to create the key message “Practical. Approachable. Resourceful”, along with a brand manifesto to clarify PCD’s purpose.
We utilized the company’s initials PCD for their logo and updated their visual appeal by introducing new colors and designing a stylized logo mark communicating collaboration. The new site also utilizes a content management tool that allows PCD to update content and images. The new brand now captures an earthy, fresh, open-to-change image that fuels growth.
Our collective efforts were honored with a 2021 Summit International Creative Award in the category of Complete Rebrand/ Redesign category.
